Nottingham
Jeepers, it's 1961 and life is just swell. JFK is president and everyone just loves and everything.
Nottingham High just couldn't be a better place.
Saxon High and Norman High merged into one school. Now John Prince, the class president, keeps the
Norman's happy by stealing from the poor Saxons. I guess when you're the sheriff's son you can get away with
anything.
That is until now.
Because Robin Loxley is coming home to spend her senior year at her old school. And she (yes, SHE!) is
stunned to find the changes. The poor Saxons oppressed, the Sherwood Burger Palace out of business. It's
not fair, and Robin is one cat that will fight for justice.
So with the help of Little John, the former all-state half back, Fryer Tuck, the whacked out fry cook from the
palace, and the rest of the not so merry men, Robin is going to stop the awful Normans.
Except she meets one who isn't so awful. Marion's a nice guy. (Yes, a guy.) And as Robin and Marion fall in
love, they realize that the world isn't divided into "us" and "them."
Can Robin steal from the rich, give to the poor and still make it to Prom on time?
Nottingham made its debut at the Francis Wilson Playhouse In
